Meetings with Children with Life Threatening Illnesses

The majority of meet & greet requests are sent in by Make-A-Wish or other approved wish-granting agencies. We do, on occasion, accept wishes from individuals on a case-by-case basis for those over the age of 18.

All requests must be in writing. In the case of requests from individuals, letters must be accompanied with medical documentation or a letter from a doctor. (Wish agencies are expected to screen their requests.)

Meetings can only be arranged at an arena where the talent is scheduled to work. The intense nature of WWE scheduling (travel 4-5 days a week), makes it impossible for the talent to accommodate visits to individuals outside of the arenas. In the case of a chronically sick individual who cannot attend the arena, in certain circumstances, WWE Superstars will call that person.

Requests for phone calls must be in writing providing the phone number, best time to call, time zone, medical documentation or a letter from a doctor, and general information regarding the interests and hobbies of the individual.

Once a wish has been approved, a confirmation letter will be sent to either the agency or individual. WWE will provide the wish individuals with up to four complimentary tickets.

In order to ensure success of meets & greets, WWE normally schedules meetings earlier in the day.

The meeting with the WWE Superstar is limited to the wish individual and one other member of his or her party. This ensures that the wish individual has the Superstar's full attention.

As with any wish-granting agency, a wish is only granted once. This allows us to accommodate as many as possible of the hundreds of  requests we receive.

Please send all requests to Sue Aitchison, Manager, Community Relations, WWE, Inc., 1241 East Main Street, Stamford, CT 06902. Via fax: 203-353-5029. No emails please.
