Executive Team Bios
Donna Goldsmith joined WWE, Inc. in July 2000 as Senior Vice President, Consumer Products and was named Chief Operating Officer in December 2008. Goldsmith serves on the Board of Directors and is also a member of the company’s Executive Committee.
Prior to being named COO, Goldsmith served as Executive Vice President of Consumer Products overseeing WWE's global merchandise, licensing, book and magazine publishing and DVD businesses, as well as WWEShop.com, the company’s e-commerce website.
Before joining WWE, Goldsmith worked for the National Basketball Association (NBA) where she managed Global Licensing. She developed and implemented business strategies including identification of new licensees and products, global trends, distribution, marketing and promotional programs. Prior to the NBA, Goldsmith worked for Swatch Watch U.S.A., Inc. and Revlon, Inc. generating promotional concepts, managing inventory and developing marketing plans.
In October 2009, Goldsmith was named by Forbes as the second most powerful woman in sports. She was also recognized by CableFax magazine as one of the most powerful women in cable.
A resident of Manhattan, Goldsmith graduated from SUNY Oswego with a BA in Communications.
