Michael Lake, President of WWE Films, joined World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. in October 2007. As President of WWE Films, Lake oversees a variety of entertainment projects. Specifically, he develops theatrical and direct-to-video opportunities for WWE Films that provide unmatched on-screen action as vehicles for WWE Superstars.
In addition to feature films, Lake also works to develop new television projects that will benefit from an affiliation with WWE or its Superstars.

A 36-year production and management veteran of the movie and television industries, Lake recently served as Executive Producer for WWE Film’s The Condemned, starring Stone Cold Steve Austin™. Prior to this, Lake served as Executive Vice President World Wide Feature Production for Village Roadshow Pictures Entertainment Inc., overseeing production of forty-five films including hits as The Matrix Trilogy, Three Kings, Miss Congeniality, Ocean’s Eleven, Ocean’s Twelve and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

Lake currently sits on the Advisory Board of the Association of Film Commissioners International.
