Christopher Amann, M.D. - WWE Senior Ringside Physician


Christopher M. Amann, M.D., is WWE, Inc.'s Senior Ringside Physician. Dr. Amann primarily works with WWE's RAW brand and developmental territory, but also oversees the ringside physicians, athletic trainers, and the medical care of athletes on all brands. Dr. Amann is a key member who developed and implemented our professional-level sports medicine program.

Additionally, Dr. Chris Amann serves as the team physician for the United States Olympic Committee and the United States Soccer Women's National Team.
In 2008, Dr. Amann traveled to Beijing, China as the team physician with the gold winning U.S. Women's Soccer team. He has worked as the team physician for the The Ohio State University and more specifically for the Men's Football, Men's Lacrosse, Women's Soccer, and Women's Ice Hockey teams. Simultaneously, Dr. Amann worked with Ohio Wesleyan University and multiple local high schools, giving medical care to student athletes and overseeing the training rooms. He has provided ringside care for the United States Professional Boxing Association and he has acted as the team physician for the semi-professional Chicago football team, the Chargers. After receiving his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and his medical degree from Loyola University Chicago, Dr. Amann went on to complete his residency at MacNeal Hospital in Bewyn, IL and his fellowship at The Ohio State University.
