WWE Studios
Established in 2002, WWE Films became WWE Studios on July 21, 2008, to better represent our current focus on creating a diversified mix of filmed entertainment including theatrical releases, television movies, series, animation, reality and other projects currently in development.
WWE Studios second direct-to-DVD film, “The Marine 2” starring WWE Superstar Ted DiBiase, was produced in conjunction with 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment and is slated for release in December 29, 2009.
WWE Studios is currently shooting the feature film, "Knucklehead" starring Mark Feuerstein (Royal Pains), Melora Hardin (The Office), Paul "Big Show" Wight (WWE), Dennis Farina (Law and Order) and Wendy Malick (Just Shoot Me). The film is scheduled to be released April 23, 2010.
