WWE Entertainment Extends Spanish Programming Reach to 45 Million Homes

Signs Deal With Telemundo Network Group LLC

STAMFORD, Conn. -- Oct. 13, 2000 -- WWE Entertainment, Inc. (NMS: WWE), today announced a distribution agreement with Telemundo Network Group LLC to extend their programming to Spanish speaking American audiences in the United States.

WWE and Telemundo Network signed a one-year television deal for a total of 52 hours of programming, with a potential acquisition of up to 156 hours. The deal will allow Telemundo to feature WWE's Metal on their network.

This agreement is part of WWE's major expansion into Spanish speaking markets, which now includes Chile and Peru amongst other territories. This will considerably increase the WWE's total reach for Spanish language programming to 45 million.

Andrew Whitaker, Senior Vice President, International Television, WWE, said: "The Spanish-speaking market in the US is expanding dramatically and is a vital element of our distribution strategy. This will compliment our existing distribution in the South American markets."
