WWE Entertainment Sells More Than 52,000 Tickets for WrestleMania X-Seven Tickets Going Fast, But Great Seats Still Remain for This Record Breaking Event

STAMFORD, Conn.--Nov. 27, 2000-- With more than four months to go until the first match, WWE Entertainment, Inc. announced today that more than 52,000 tickets have been purchased for WrestleMania X-Seven, which will take place on Sunday, April 1, 2001 at the Reliant Astrodome in Houston. This year's event will be one of the highest grossing WWE events ever, as well as the largest crowd ever to attend a live event at the Reliant Astrodome.

"For each of the last 16 years, WrestleMania has continuously proven to be one of the greatest live event spectaculars in the entertainment industry. This year, our great fans in Houston, as well as fans from all over the world, will make WrestleMania X-Seven another huge success," said Stuart Snyder, President and COO of WWE. "The demand for tickets has been overwhelming and we anticipate that WrestleMania and AXXESS: The Fan Festival will make for one of most exciting and memorable WWE weekends ever."
