World Wrestling Entertainment's Tough Enough 3 Coming Back to MTV
STAMFORD, Conn., May 8, 2002 - World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. and MTV announced today that they have reached an agreement to jointly produce WWE TOUGH ENOUGH™ 3 to air on MTV later this year. The show, currently in the middle of its second season on MTV, documents the trials, excitement, and challenges experienced by 13 competitors as they vie to become the next World Wrestling Entertainment ™Superstars. Two World Wrestling Entertainment™ contracts will be awarded at the end of season.

While the winners of WWE TOUGH ENOUGH™ 2 won't be revealed until the May 30th live season finale (MTV/10pm EST), Maven Huffman and Nidia Guenard, WWE TOUGH ENOUGH™ champions from the first season, have been seen frequently on episodes of WWE RAW® and WWE SMACKDOWN!™. Maven™ has held the Hardcore Championship, and competed in WrestleMania® X8 in front of more than 68,000 fans at Toronto's SkyDome. Nidia™ has accompanied Maven™ to the ring and has been a special guest at The WorldÒ, the company's entertainment complex in New York City, during episodes of WWE RAW® on Monday nights.
