STAMFORD, Conn., December 12, 2002 - With the January 2003 "WWE Far East Tour" setting ticket sales records in Korea, WWE today announced it will make WWE merchandise available for the first time in Korea. WWE has selected Korea’s East Asia Company (EAC) to develop and operate www.wwekoreashop.com, which will offer official WWE merchandise for sale to Korean fans. The site will come online in January 2003. EAC will also sell official WWE merchandise at the live event scheduled for the Jamsil Indoor Stadium on January 23, 2003, which sold out all available tickets in five days.

Roger Marment, WWE’s Executive Vice President, International Business Development, noted, "We want the online shop to become a focal point for WWE’s Korean fans, a place where they will be able to obtain the latest WWE merchandise. At www.wwekoreashop.com, they can be sure they will be getting the only official WWE products."
