STAMFORD, Conn., December 21, 2006 - World Wrestling Entertainment has signed new content agreements with: communications company Orange, Britain's third-largest network operator; Heylife, a mobile, Internet and TV content producer and distributor based in Portugal; and German broadcaster Tele5, which currently airs weekly installments of WWE’s television program, SmackDown.
District Court Cottbus in Germany today ruled that the video game "WWE SmackDown vs. RAW 2006" played no role in the homicide of a homeless man, as the defendant claimed in a last ditch effort to reduce his sentence. The court also ruled that the claim could not be used to justify the crime.
WWE is pleased the court saw through the last gasp attempt to lay blame for the murder of this homeless man on playing a video game. Steffen G., a 19-year-old with a history of alcoholism and violence, beat the homeless man and left him to die after consuming 1 bottle of beer, 2 bottles of wine, and 1 bottle of chocolate liqueur and displaying violent behavior.

The wildly popular organization, led by superstars like John Cena, Batista, and Triple H, landed the #1 spot in the Sports category with 3.3% of ticket sales.
STAMFORD, Conn., December 5, 2006 - World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc., (NYSE:WWE) today announced financial results for its second fiscal quarter ended October 27, 2006. Revenues totaled $96.2 million as compared to $88.9 million in the prior year quarter and operating income was $11.7 million as compared to $18.9 million in the prior year quarter. The Company reported net income of $10.4 million, or $0.15 per share, as compared to $11.7 million, or $0.17 per share, in the prior year quarter.
In an article that appeared in today’s Stamford Advocate, analyst Dennis McAlpine, of McAlpine Associates, noted that the incident in Indonesia “won’t hurt the company’s performance, nor its ability to seek growth abroad.” WWE anticipates a successful resolution that will allow Indonesian viewers to see WWE programming again in the near future.
Despite statements by authorities that the death of a young boy in Indonesia cannot be tied to WWE programming, WWE has been taken off the air by the Indonesian Broadcasting Commission. This has caused concern among those who support media freedoms in that country, notably the Jakarta Post Chief Editor Endy M. Bayuni. The Jakarta Post today says that WWE being taken off the air "raises a disturbing question; what other programs will the public target next."

WWE's Sr. Manager of Community Relations, Sue Aitchison, has received the highest honor granted by the Make A Wish Foundation, the Chris Grecius Award. The award was named after Chris, whose wish as a seven-year-old to become a police officer for a day became the inspiration for what is now the largest wish-granting organization in the world.
Sue started WWE's relationship with Make A Wish in the mid-1980's. Within the past 20 years, Sue has organized more than 5,000 meet-and-greet sessions between WWE Superstars and sick children in the United States, Great Britain, Germany and Australia. It's a testament to Sue that our WWE program, now known as the Circle of Champions, has grown in scope to work regularly with more than 20 wish agencies around the world. However, the roots of our program remain with the Make A Wish Foundation.
Both The Rock and WWE have been honored with the Chris Grecius Award, and Vince and Linda have joined the Make A Wish Foundation Advisory Board, in no small part due to Sue's tireless efforts.
According to Nielsen Video Scan, for the week ending August 27, 2006, WWE’s McMahon DVD debuted at #1 among sports DVDs and #33 for all DVD releases for that week. Also of note, WWE took the top four spots (seen below) and had a total of10 WWE Titles in the Top 20 Sports DVDs list.

On Monday, Raw was the #1 primetime television program among Males 12-17 for the 19th week in a row, and ranked #4 among M18-34.
Considering the fact that SmackDown on Sept. 1 was not seen at all in 6% of the country and pre-empted in an additional 24%, the ability to maintain 90% of the previous week’s household rating is outstanding. It is also important to note that SmackDown switched stations in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington, D.C. and Houston. These new stations represent nearly 19% of the total US. Friday Night SmackDown was the #1 program in primetime among Males 12-17, #2 among Males 18-34, and the top broadcast program among M6-11.
ECW was a top 10 primetime program Tuesday night among M12-17.

USA No.1 for Summer, Thanks to RAW
USA Network was the king of summer time viewing, averaging 2.91 million total viewers for the period beginning May 29 and ending Aug. 27, according to Nielsen Media Research. Sparked by WWE Monday Night RAW, the detective series Monk and a surprise hit in its latest drama, Psych, USA grew its prime-time audience a whopping 25 percent versus summer 2005.
RAW Draws Viewers To Sci Fi
Monday Night RAW on SCI FI this week was an unqualified success, bringing 3.3 million new viewers to SCI FI’s Monday primetime.
The program averaged 4,166,000 total viewers, more than 80% of whom had not watched SCI FI on Monday nights (8-11pm) during the prior 4 weeks. RAW’s performance on Sci-Fi was the networks highest rated telecast this year, and was the highest rated telecast among A18-34 and A18-49 since the conclusion of its Battlestar Galactica miniseries on 12/9/03. RAW was the No. 1 primetime television program on Monday night among Males 12-17 for the 18th week in a row, and ranked No. 3 among M18-34. Of interest, the number of viewers who saw RAW on SCI Fi and the 11 p.m. replay on USA Network was just slightly under the average for RAW viewers on USA on Monday nights.
WWE live events are the place to be! Fans attending WWE's Unforgiven pay-per-view on Sunday, September 17, at Toronto's Air Canada Centre will be part of a sold out audience of more than 14,600. This gives WWE sell outs on both sides of the border, following the success of our sell out in Mexico City for our upcoming tour of South America. Revenues totaled $93.3 million as compared to $93.8 million in the prior year quarter and operating income was $15.6 million as compared to $15.8 million in the prior year quarter. The Company reported net income of $11.3 million, or $0.16 per share, as compared to $11.2 million, or $0.16 per share, in the prior year quarter.
WWE has something advertisers want—the 18 to 34 year old male demographic! And the proof is in the ratings.
Men ages 18-34 represent 25% of WWE’s adult viewership (Persons 18+) among RAW, SmackDown and ECW, which represents a greater percentage of men 18-34 years old than found in such highly rated broadcast programs as CSI, Lost, 24, Grey’s Anatomy and Fear Factor.
The September 20 WWE live event in Mexico City’s Palacio De Los Deportes sold out in one day with more than 19,000 scheduled to be in attendance. Last January, the SmackDown Superstars established the attendance record at the famed venue. The live event on September 20 in Mexico City commences a four-city, four-date “DX Reunion Tour” of Mexico featuring Raw Superstars who will also be performing in Guadalajara, Tijuana, and Monterrey.
Can you feel the WWE buzz? Apparently, users of Yahoo’s search engine can. WWE was #3 in Yahoo’s Most Popular Searches for July and for last Monday (8/21/06), WWE ranked #1 in the top overall searches section of the Yahoo Buzz Index. WWE has had a good run on the Index as WWE was among the Top 20 Daily Searches on Yahoo for 364 of 365 days (March 20, 2005 through March 20, 2006), and has been in the top 20 for 113 consecutive days as of August 28, 2006.
New York- August 18, 2006- ECW has remained consistent throughout its summer run, averaging a 2.3 household rating, ranking as one of SCI FI's highest rated weekly programs. It has consistently been one of the top-rated programs in primetime on Tuesday among male teens and one of the top-rated cable programs in households.

On Monday, research performed at Wake Forest University back in 1999 was released in the August issue of Pediatrics, claiming correlation between viewership of professional wrestling and “date-fighting” among teenagers.
Such correlation is something that Robert Thompson, Ph.D., director of the Center for the Study of Popular Television at Syracuse University, finds problematic when drawing conclusions to the findings of the Wake Forest researchers.
