WWE Continues to Sell Out Major Arenas in Minutes

STAMFORD CT. March 20 2000 — WWE Entertainment Inc. (NMS: WWE) continues to quickly sell out major arenas around the country for its WWE RAW IS WAR WWE SmackDown! Pay-Per-View and live "House" shows.

• The Fleet Center in Boston sold out in 4.5 minutes the Company’s fastest sellout in history for the live Pay-Per-View Event King of the Ring on June 25th.
• Allstate Arena in Chicago sold out in 18 minutes for tonight’s live television broadcast of RAW is WAR on USA Network. 
• The Bradley Center in Milwaukee sold out in 29 minutes for the March 21 television taping of SmackDown! on UPN. 
• The Staples Center in Los Angeles sold out in 11 minutes for the live broadcast of RAW is WAR on April 3.

The following events are also sold out:

• Compact Center in Houston for RAW is WAR on March 27
• Freeman Coliseum in San Antonio for SmackDown! on March 28
• San Jose Arena in California for SmackDown! on April 4
• Madison Square Garden – The World’s Most Famous Arena – for the April 15 "House" show making this WWE’s 10th consecutive MSG sellout 
• MCI Center in Washington DC for the live April 30 Pay-Per-View Event Backlash resulting in the Company’s highest live event gross ever in DC.
