NBC to Take Minority Stake in WWE Entertainment, Inc.

Stamford CT/New York NY March 29 2000 – WWE Entertainment Inc. (NMS: WWE) and NBC announced today an agreement in which NBC has agreed to purchase a minority stake in WWE. NBC has agreed to purchase approximately 2.3 million newly issued shares of Class A WWE Common stock at $13 per share for a total investment of $30 million. The agreement is subject to customary due diligence procedures. The sale represents approximately 3% of the total number of WWE shares outstanding.
