Stamford CT June 13 2000 – WWE Entertainment Inc. (NMS: WWE) has closed on its previously announced transaction in which NBC has purchased a minority stake in WWE for $30 million. NBC purchased approximately 2.3 million newly issued shares of Class A WWE Common stock at $13 per share the price at which the agreement was struck in March. After issuing these shares WWE has approximately 70.5 million Class A and Class B shares outstanding.
