September 28 2000 Stamford Conn. — WWE Entertainment Inc. (NASDAQ:WWE) is pleased to announce a brand new pay-per-view television series — WWE Fanatic. The monthly series will offer viewers an inside look at the most popular WWE Superstars and pay-per-view events. Based on the WWE’s highly successful home video series each WWE Fanatic Series special will be hosted by a WWE Superstar and will include exclusive never-before-seen footage.

The first installment in the WWE Fanatic Series will be The Rock: The People’s Champ. WWE announcer Jonathan Coachman hosts this special pay-per-view edition of the top-selling video. The Rock will take fans in the ring backstage and even to The Rock’s hometown of Miami. It will also feature some of his greatest matches promos and interviews. The Rock: The People’s Champ premieres on October 1st on pay-per-view at a suggested retail price of $9.95. The Rock: The People’s Champ is available throughout the month of October on pay-per-view in the United States and Canada. Cable and satellite subscribers can contact their provider.
