eCommerce Initiatives Paying Off for WWE New Media as Affiliate Program Secures ...

STAMFORD Conn. October 2 2000 – WWE New Media announced today that more than 12 000 Web sites have joined its WWE Shopzone Affiliate Program offering online shoppers an ever-growing multitude of ways to purchase WWE branded merchandise in time for the 2000 holiday season.

Affiliate members can add links banners or buttons to http://www.wweshopzone.com where consumers can find the world’s largest selection of official WWE T-shirts athletic gear music videos and toys.

A BizRate survey of more than 1 000 WWE customers recently earned WWE.com a high customer service rating of 4 out of 5 stars. Widely recognized as the standard for customer satisfaction on the Web these ratings are the only statistically rigorous way of differentiating retailers on "quality of service" metrics allowing consumers to take the focus away from solely price comparisons. Consequently in a survey offered at the end of the WWEShopzone.com purchase cycle 95% of customer feedback was extremely positive regarding their shopping experience.

WWE Shopzone Affiliate Program rewards sites with up to 10% commissions on all sales generated when a customer is redirected to www.wweshopzone.com. Commission payments are made monthly to the affiliates who pay nothing to join the program.

Online sales reports show affiliate members exactly how much was ordered through their links and the program handles all aspects of order processing shipping billing and customer service. The WWEShopzone Affiliate Program also offers members recommendations on how best to set up their links and sends out a bi-weekly newsletter with helpful hints and merchandising updates.

Moreover new promotions are unveiled monthly on Shopzone which also is offering a special holiday promotional book "Mick Foley¹s Christmas Chaos." Written by New York Times best-selling author Mick Foley and illustrated by WWE on-air personality and commentator Jerry "The King" Lawler the book will be available on WWEShopzone at the end of October.
