LOS ANGELES November 10 2000 . . . UPN Thursday and its heavyweight "WWE Smackdown!" recorded the all-time highest ratings among Adults 18-34 (4.4/12) Adults 18-49 (3.4/8) Men 18-34 (6.0/17) and Men 25-54 (4.0/9) last night according to national viewing statistics provided by Nielsen Media Research. In addition "WWE Smackdown!" delivered 7.9 million Total Viewers and matched the time period’s best performance among Adults 25-54 (3.0/7) and Men 18-49 (4.5/11).
UPN also won the 8:00-10:00 p.m. time period among Total Teens (6.0/18) and Male Teens (9.3/28). UPN has ranked first among Male Teens since "WWE Smackdown!" premiered on August 26 1999 — 64 consecutive Thursday nights. Further UPN has ranked first for the last 50 weeks among Total Teens.
"WWE Smackdown!" was also the top-rated program of the night among Total Teens and Male Teens.
UPN ranked second among Adults 18-34 (4.4/12) Men 18-34 (6.0/17) and Men 18-49 (4.5/11) and third among Adults 18-49 (3.4/8).
"WWE Smackdown!" topped FOX’s "Battle of Child Geniuses 2" and WB’s original dramas in Homes (4.9/7 vs. 4.4/7 and 3.3/5) and Total Viewers (7.9 million vs. 6.6 million and 4.9 million).
