Following the success of the platinum WWE The Music Volumes 3 & 4 KOCH Records and SmackDown! Records a division of WWE Entertainment Inc. (NYSE: WWE) will release WWE The Music Volume 5 on February 20th 2001. The CD features the recording debut of WWE Superstar The Rock and a special appearance by Slick Rick. The CD also contains never before released entrance theme songs from Superstar’s such as Triple H Kane Kurt Angle Chyna and more. WWE New York in Times Square will be the first retail outlet to begin selling the new CD at midnight on February 19th.
WWE The Music Volume 5 is a digitally enhanced CD that features a rock web browser that’s targeted specifically to rock fans. The enhanced record will also have links that will direct users to related websites such as SmackDownRecords.com and WWE.com.
The Rock proclaims: "This song is a gift from the people’s champ to the people. The Rock serves up a slice of the best damn pie you’ve ever had."

SmackDown! Records President Ron McCarrell adds "WWE The Music Volume 5 features some very diverse tracks including a great new hip-hop song Pie performed by the Rock and special guest Slick Rick. There’s also a juiced up version of "The Game " entrance theme of Triple H performed by heavy metal icons Motorhead. These new songs combined with entrance themes of favorite WWE Superstars will give our fans and all music enthusiasts a very entertaining listening experience."
