SAN DIEGO and STAMFORD CONN. – December 12 2001 – QUALCOMM Incorporated (Nasdaq: QCOM) pioneer and world leader of Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) digital wireless technology and WWE Entertainment (WWE) Inc. (NYSE: WWE) an integrated media and entertainment company today announced they have signed an agreement to create interactive wireless services using QUALCOMM’s Binary Runtime Environment for Wireless (BREW) applications platform. WWE is creating a suite of applications for its fans worldwide who will be able to personalize their handsets over the air virtually anytime anywhere. Their complete offering of wireless content will include personalized ring tones instant messaging interactive trivia up-to-the moment news real-time polling and games aimed to give subscribers the most bleeding edge explosive set of mobile applications available anywhere.
