STAMFORD CONN. February 27 2002 –World Wrestling WWE Entertainment Inc. has been granted a stay by the United Kingdom’s Court of Appeal of today’s decision upholding the judgement and order issued by the High Court of Justice Chancery Division.

In October 2001 the High Court ruled that WWE breached a 1994 agreement with the World Wildlife Fund (known in the U.K. as the Worldwide Fund for Nature) by the use of its current "scratch" logo and the Internet URL WWE.com.

The stay will remain in effect pending the company’s petition to the House of Lords for permission to review the Court of Appeal’s decision.
