WWE, Weekly Reader and KB Toys Team Up to Encourage Kids to Read

STAMFORD CONN. August 12 2002 – World Wrestling Entertainment’s® Get R.E.A.L. (Respect Education Achievement Leadership)® program is partnering with Weekly Reader and KB Toys to encourage young people to read.

KB Toys and Weekly Reader are sponsoring a poster featuring WWE SmackDown!® Superstars Edge® Torrie Wilson® Mark Henry® Maven® Chavo Guerrero® and Lance Storm® to promote reading. Weekly Reader will distribute the poster to 98 000 classrooms across the country this fall. WWE® will also send the poster to more than 1 100 public libraries to encourage participation in reading programs.

Libraries and schools may obtain a Get R.E.A.L.® reading poster free of charge by faxing a request on letterhead to WWE® at 203-328-2560.
