October 31 2002 — World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. today announced last week’s Road to Rebellion Tour in Europe drew more than 43 000 enthusiastic fans for the four-city tour through Finland Northern Ireland and England generating more than $2.2 million in ticket sales for the company.

During the tour WWE Superstars such as Brock Lesnar® Kurt Angle® Booker T® and Matt Hardy® met and interacted with fans at each of the tour stops which included Hartwell Arena in Helsinki Finland; Odyssey Arena in Belfast Northern Ireland; M.E.N. Arena in Manchester England; and Sheffield Arena in Sheffield England.

WWE is planning eight international tours in 2003. The tours will cover five continents and include visits to countries such as Australia Brazil Chile England France Germany Italy Japan South Korea Mexico Scotland Singapore South Africa and Thailand.
