WWET Conducts National Search for Its Next Diva

STAMFORD Conn. June 18 2003 – World Wrestling Entertainment™ is conducting a national search for a new WWE Diva and it will be the fans that get to decide just who she is.

The 2003 WWE Diva Search is encouraging women 18 or older who believe they have the beauty brawn and brains to become the newest WWE Diva to provide a photograph of themselves and a short written description of why they want to be the next WWE Diva.

Entries can be submitted online to divasearch.wwe.com. The deadline for entry is Friday June 27 2003.

Beginning July 1 fans will begin voting for their favorite Diva contestants. Fan voting will whittle the competition to a sweet 16 by July 20 then to 8 finalists by July 29. Fan voting on a final Diva four will conclude by August 6. The four remaining contestants will win a trip to WWE’s SummerSlam pay-per-view event in Phoenix to compete in a final event to be web cast live on a special Byte This! program. The new Diva winner will be photographed and featured in WWE RAW® Magazine.

The new Diva will have some big stilettos to fill as WWE’s Divas are some of the most recognized women in the world.
• WWE Divas Sable™ and Torrie Wilson™ have both joined the elite group of best selling Playboy cover girls.
• Stacy Keibler™ famous for her 41-inch long legs has a spread in this month’s Stuff Magazine and has appeared on various late night television shows and the Howard Stern Show.
• WWE Diva Ivory™ graced the cover of Entertainment Weekly. Ivory was also invited to and participated in the “Blockbuster Hollywood Christmas Spectacular Parade” in December 2002.
• Canadian-born beauty Trish Stratus™ graced the cover of the July 2003 issue of Flare Magazine and has also made guest appearances on MADTV and The Howard Stern Show.
• WWE Divas Lita™ Jacqueline™ and Molly Holly™ were guests on a special episode of Fear Factor.
