World Wrestling Entertainment Superstars Host Fundraiser at Mall of America to ...
STAMFORD Conn. March 2 2005 – World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. (WWE) Superstars Al Snow® and Scotty Too Hotty™ will be at Mall of America’s Camp Snoopy on Saturday March 5 to raise money for the Minnesota Chapter of Make-A-Wish Foundation as part of the WWE®’s “Road to WrestleMania® 21 Tour.” The Superstars will ride the Timberland Twister Roller Coaster as part of the fundraising efforts. Anyone may join the Superstars on the ride from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for a $10 donation.
WWE’s “The Road to WrestleMania 21 Tour ” is an 11-week national tour that is stopping at major malls throughout the U.S. with the culmination being Los Angeles the site of WrestleMania 21 on April 3. The mobile marketing effort hosted by WWE Legend Hillbilly Jim™ will feature many activities for fans to interact with WWE including call-a-match memorabilia displays video game kiosk and a main stage that hosts autograph signings trivia contests and more. The tour will be at Mall of America on March 4 and March 5.
The Make-A-Wish® fundraiser is part of WWE’s Circle of Champions program which strives to meet the wishes of children with life-threatening illnesses who desire to meet WWE Superstars. Each year WWE conducts more than 200 meet-and-greet sessions at its live events in the United States Great Britain and Australia. In 2004 the Make-A-Wish Foundation awarded WWE its Chris Greicius Award.
