On the occasion of the launch ofthe November 2005 Italian Tour consistent with WWE’s philosophy of being a responsible corporate citizen in the countries in which it performs;

In recognition of the great success and attention that WWE shows achieve in the country; and

In order to utilize WWE’s and their wrestling Superstars’ great popularity among children for the benefit of Italian society:

joins with the bicameral Committee on Children of the Italian Parliament in a

“Pact for Childhood”

1) WWE in accordance with their philosophy will broadcast public service announcements (PSAs) in its television programs in Italy warning viewers of the dangers of emulating wrestling moves at home or at school. 

2) WWE will publish ads in their magazines similar to the PSAs seen on Italian television.

3) Inspired by the dialogue with Italian institutions WWE has agreed to visit Italian schools to warn children of the dangers of mimicking wrestling moves that they may see WWE Superstars perform in the ring on television and during live events.

4) On the occasion of the November 2005 Italian Tour launch WWE Superstars will visit a school to promote a discussion on the dangers of copying wrestling moves and encourage the students to become active in organized school activities. 

5) WWE will distribute posters to students designed to remind them not to copy wrestling moves at school or at home. 

6) WWE commits itself to avoid the active participation of children or adolescents in any role in the ring during the wrestling shows that will take place in Italy.

7) WWE will provide materials and tickets as incentives and awards in order to assist the bicameral Committee on Children in promoting and encouraging student involvement in programs against physical and verbal altercations.

8) WWE and its Superstars will assist the bicameral Committee on Children in the promotion through the mass media of mutually agreeable worthwhile social education programs that encourage positive actions by youth in Italian society and that condemn the use of violence by children against other children for any reason.
