Mission Accomplished in Afghanistan

The WWE RAW Superstars returned from their “Tribute to the Troops” tour of Afghanistan on Saturday night tired but full of memories from a tremendous trip that saw the Superstars meet with thousands of men and women in our U.S. military serving in Afghanistan.

The Superstars visited several forward operating bases on the front lines of the fighting with the Taliban.  They spoke with the soldiers working tirelessly to rebuild Afghanistan and make it better.  On Friday the Superstars performed Monday Night RAW before 7 000 military men and women capping off an eventful three days.

A new wrinkle to this year’s tour was the attendance of MSNBC correspondent Rita Cosby host of “Rita Cosby: Live and Direct.”  Cosby covered the tour for MSNBC hosting two live shows from Afghanistan that featured most of the WWE RAW Superstars on the tour.  She also kept a blog during the tour that you can read by clicking here.
