WWE Champion John Cena will be part of a new ABC reality show “Fast Cars & Superstars – The Gillette Young Guns Celebrity Race.”  This new primetime television series on ABC will begin airing on June 7.  To give viewers an inside look at the speed excitement and entertainment of motorsports ABC is bringing two worlds together: The Gillette Young Guns NASCAR drivers and A-List celebrities from the world of film television music and sports.

In “Fast Cars & Superstars – Gillette Young Guns Celebrity Race ”  12 celebrity drivers including Cena Jewel Serena Williams and John Elway will partner with six of NASCAR’s most talented and popular drivers including Jimmie Johnson Carl Edwards and Kasey Kahne – to learn what it takes to win on the race track during the seven-episode series.

Broadcast in primetime on ABC online and across multi-media platforms “Fast Cars & Superstars – The Gillette Young Guns Celebrity Race” will emerge as a new sports entertainment format combining America’s most popular sport with the fast lane of the entertainment world.   The series was shot at the Lowe’s Motor Speedway in Charlotte North Carolina – the home of motorsports.   Cena along with the other cast members will be introduced in the episode airing on June 7.  His first driving competition will occur in episode 3 airing on June 12.  For more information on John Cena’s participation click here.
