John Cena and Randy Orton nominated for Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards
London August 2008 – Nickelodeon UK has announced that two WWE® Superstars John Cena and Randy Orton have both been nominated for Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards in the UK.
John Cena is up for a Favourite Sportsperson award while Randy Orton is in the running to win the Favourite Baddie category.
After narrowly missing out on the top spot to David Beckham last year John Cena is delighted to be in with a chance of winning. On hearing about his nomination Cena said: “I’ve been up against some tough opponents in the ring and I love a good challenge so this is going to be a lot of fun!”
In stark contrast to John Cena’s category Randy Orton is up against the likes of the Daleks Plankton and TV’s notorious Mr. Nasty Simon Cowell. Orton was quick to make his feelings about this known: “Simon Cowell competing against me? I’m going to wipe the floor with this guy; whoever he thinks he is he’s no match for the Legend Killer™.”
Fans can vote for John Cena and Randy Orton now at http://www.kca.nick.co.uk. Winners will be announced on Saturday September 13th.
