WWE Announces the Signing of Shinsuke Nakamura

TOKYO & STAMFORD Conn. February 22 2016 – WWE® (NYSE: WWE) today announced the signing of international superstar Shinsuke Nakamura to its NXT® division.  Nakamura will officially report to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando Florida in late March.

Over the course of his 14-year career Nakamura has garnered universal popularity for his eclectic personality and electrifying style that combines speed ferocity and technical skill.  That style earned him multiple titles for organizations in his native Japan.

Nakamura is scheduled to make his in-ring debut against Sami Zayn at NXT TakeOver: Dallas on Friday April 1 from a sold-out Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center Arena during WrestleMania® Week.  NXT TakeOver: Dallas will be broadcast live around the world on the award-winning WWE Network at 10 pm ET.
