WWE® LAUNCHES ON DIGICEL PLAY IN THE PACIFIC ISLANDS
PORT MORESBY Papua New Guinea and STAMFORD Conn 5 July 2016 – WWE (NYSE: WWE) and Digicel (PNG) Ltd. today announced a new agreement to broadcast Raw® and SmackDown® in the Pacific Islands. Beginning this Thursday Digicel Play subscribers in Papua New Guinea Fiji Tonga Samoa and the other Pacific Islands* will be able to watch WWE’s flagship programs – Raw and SmackDown – on TVWAN Action for the first time.
Raw will air weekly at 5 pm every Thursday while SmackDown will air weekly at 11 am starting this Sunday.

A new channel structure was introduced in May across Digicel Play with three subscriber packages available and better pricing plans. The new structure has allowed for new and improved channels including Paramount TVWAN Life and TVWAN Action which is bringing a greater selection of premium television content to viewers across the Pacific.
*Raw and SmackDown will air in Cook Islands Fiji French Polynesia Kiribati Marshall Islands Nauru Niue Palau Papua New Guinea Samoa (excluding American Samoa) Solomon Islands Tokelau Tonga Tuvalu Vanuatu and Wallis and Futuna.
