VETERAN PARTNERSHIP

VETERAN PARTNERSHIP

WWE has a long history of supporting our Armed forces because we are extremely grateful for the sacrifices of our nation’s heroes. – Vince McMahon, Chairman & CEO.

WWE’s longstanding commitment to the military in the U.S. and abroad includes visiting nearly 400 military installations, entertaining U.S. soldiers through Tribute to the Troops annual holiday special, offering all U.S. military personnel free tickets to all its Live Events in the United States and partnering with military organizations, such as Hire Heroes USA to provide workforce assistance through personalized employment training, career panels and networking events.

Tribute to the Troops

WWE’s annual Tribute to the Troops is a multi-day event, during the holidays, to thank our servicemen and women and their families for their service to our country, complete with WWE community outreach events featuring WWE Superstars.

Hire Heroes USA and WWE

WWE’s partnership with Hire Heroes USA is focused on creating job opportunities for military veterans and their spouses through personalized employment training, career workshops and panels hosted by WWE and public awareness campaigns during Memorial Day, Veterans Day and WWE’s Tribute to the Troops.

USO Metro

WWE is proud to support USO-Metro and their tireless efforts to lift the spirits of America’s troops and their families. USO-Metro awarded WWE with its first Legacy of Hope Award and WWE Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon serves on its Board of Directors.

How Is WWE Involved With the Military

WWE Superstars regularly visit military bases and hospitals, including Walter Reed Army Medical Center (prior to closing its doors in 2011) and Bethesda Naval Hospital to bolster the morale of our troops. In 2004, the USO of Metropolitan Washington presented WWE with the first ever “Legacy of Hope” award for the company’s extensive support of our troops and the USO’s Operation Care Package program.
